operations and maintenance
ASRC Energy Services offers complete operations and maintenance services to the oil and gas and construction industries. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) group has grown into one of the nation's largest merit-shop oil field service contractors. We offer general operations and maintenance services, exploration and production support, and facility and wellhead maintenance services. We have earned a leading position among Alaska's oil field contractors, and have worked on every major oil field project on the North Slope. With more than 1,500 employees during peak season, O&M can transfer personnel quickly and adjust staff levels to accommodate the client and project needs. Our ability to execute projects safely, on time, under budget, and to the highest standards of quality has led to strategic agreements with major producers. Our professional staff includes a significant number of Project Management Professionals certified through the Project Management Institute. We are proud of our safety performance, and have received numerous safety awards from our clients. Several projects have achieved more than one million man-hours worked without a lost time accident. Services
Maintenance services AES provides facility and wellhead maintenance support services to the North Slope and Kenai Peninsula oil field operators, including offshore support in Cook Inlet. We also have provided sustained maintenance services to the Trans Alaska Pipeline System. AES offers pipeline maintenance, instrumentation calibration, maintenance of high capacity pumps and compressors, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and piping systems. Our experienced professionals possess the knowledge and expertise to manage turbine, compressor, and chemical injection system operations. Well testing In addition to in-field portable well testing capabilities, we offer the only fit-for-purpose exploration well testing package available to the North Slope. Integrated modules combined with current technology provide highly efficient well testing operations dedicated to delivering the best in health, safety, and environmental performance. Due to the short exploration seasons on the North Slope, we have developed well testing equipment specifically for the arctic environment. This allows us to move in, rig up, and begin operations very quickly, which maximizes the time available for well testing. Our system is fully integrated with production tanks and flare systems. Our specialized well testing equipment includes a trailer-mounted, self-contained primary separator with spill containment, comprising a 45 mmscf. three-phase separator fitted with high-low level controllers and a capacity of 10,000 barrels per day. Facilities AES operates extensive facilities at Deadhorse which provide support services for all aspects of work on the North Slope oil fields. Our Deadhorse facility includes a heavy duty shop, light vehicle shop, warm storage building, welding shop, body and paint shop, valve service and repair shop, tire shop, and carpenter shop. We also operate an extensive fleet of fully-maintained equipment outfitted for Arctic conditions. Our Kenai Sea Lift Module Fabrication and Assembly Facility in Nikiski, Alaska, has a deep-water dock for barging modules to Alaska's North Slope and other destinations. The 25-acre site has an ice-free port and an 8-acre dock that accommodates modules up to 10,000 tons. The Kenai facility also features 26,000 square feet of shop space, a 6,000 square foot paint shop, and a lighted dock and beach space. The facility provides light construction services, pipe spool fabrication, hydro-testing, vacuum truck and super sucker services, blasting and painting, hydro-blasting, tank cleaning, confined space services, and turnaround services. The facility is a designated "foreign trade zone." We offer operations and maintenance services through our Alaska-based operations and maintenance group and through two subsidiaries: AES - Houston Contracting Company, our union subsidiary; and Omega Natchiq, Inc., our Gulf Coast-based subsidiary. |
