Omega Natchiq, Inc. (Omega), AES’s Gulf Coast subsidiary, is a full service provider for the global energy, oil and gas production, mid-stream chemical processing, drilling, refining, utility and manufacturing industries. Our New Iberia operations include 75 acres of 6,000-ton capacity, multi-service facilities, at Louisiana’s Port of Iberia. Omega is comprised of both Construction and Technical Divisions that support Onshore, Offshore / Offsite activities, and is a Certified Minority Business Enterprise through the National and Louisiana Minority Supplier Development Councils.

HSE performance is key to Omega’s success. Our first priority at Omega is the safety of our most valued resources – our employees. HSE programs include the empowerment & involvement of our personnel, JHAs/FHAs, our Behavioral Safety Process, Continual Training, Personal Assessment of Risk Process (PAR) and Stewardship. Omega has worked over 7.8 million man-hours with no Lost Time Incidents.

Port of Iberia Facility
Features of our facility, located at 4418 Pesson Road, New Iberia, LA 70560 include:
- New 2011 Beam Fabrication Facility:
- Computerized Robotic CNC type beam fabrication equipment processes beams, channels, rectangular / square tubes, angles and other structural shapes
- 120’X170’ Material Preparation Shop with:
- Computerized Robotic CNC pipe coping/cutting machine with up to 48” pipe capacity
- Computerized Robotic CNC plate cutting equipment cuts any thickness of plate up to 10’X40’ sheets, 400 amp plasma or oxy-fuel, with 5 axis bevel head
- 75 acre Port of Iberia fabrication facility
- 100’ X 400’ barge capability with depth of 25’
- Open cell bulkhead for load-out up to 6,000 tons
- Additional waterfront load out capacity rated at 2,500 tons
- 4,000 linear feet of waterfront
- 90,000 sq. ft. of shop space
- ASME Coded Vessel Shop with R and U Stamps
- 60’ by 150’ climate controlled panel manufacturing and fire/gas shops
- Sandblasting and painting/coating areas
