HSE performance is key to Omega’s success. Our safety performance is industry leading and is a result of the culture and commitment of management and our employees. Our first priority at Omega is the safety of our most valued resources – our employees. HSE programs include the empowerment of our personnel to utilize the Stop Work Authority if they feel hazardous conditions may exist. Additional HSE programs include JHAs/FHAs, S.W.A.T. (our Behavioral Safety Process), Continual Training, Personal Assessment of Risk Process (PAR) and Stewardship. Omega has worked over 6.3 million man-hours with no Lost Time Incidents.

Port of Iberia Facility
Features of our facility, located at 4418 Pesson Road, New Iberia, LA 70560 include:
- New in 2009, 120’X170’ material preparation shop with:
- Computerized CNC pipe coping/cutting machine with up to 48” pipe capacity
- Computerized CNC plate cutting equipment cuts any thickness of plate up to 10’X40’ sheets, 400 amp plasma or oxy-fuel, with 2 axis bevel head
- 75 acre Port of Iberia fabrication facility
- 100’ X 400’ barge capability with depth of 25’
- Open cell bulkhead with 6,000 ton load out capacity
- Additional waterfront load out capacity rated at 2,500 tons
- 4,000 linear feet of waterfront
- 88,000 sq. ft. of shop space
- 60’ by 150’ climate controlled panel manufacturing and fire/gas shops
- Sandblasting and painting/coating areas
