With over 20 years of experience in finance, technology development, and senior management leadership, Christy’s focus is to ensure that AES services are delivered with the highest attention to safety, quality and excellence.
Prior to AES, Christine managed Schlumberger’s Alaska operation. She also served in various Schlumberger management roles including: Director of Mergers, Acquisitions and New Ventures; Vice President of Advanced Technologies within the Smith Bits Segment; and the Katy Technology Center Manager where she managed the drilling motors and land based directional drilling portfolio. Christine started her career in investment banking in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance working for Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse First Boston and Jefferies & Co.
She is currently an adjunct professor at Alaska Pacific University in the business school and teaches in the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program (ANELP). Christine also taught at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business for 12 years.
Christine received her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurial business from University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. Her undergraduate degree is in economics and political science with a concentration in finance from Boston University. She also attended Harvard University and received a certification in the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative program that equips leaders with the skills, knowledge, and abilities required to effectively lead during crisis.
She is a wife and mother of three teenagers, and enjoys Pilates, endurance horseback riding, fly fishing, skiing, cooking, and gardening.
