Equipment SPECS

A portion of one bay is dedicated to structural steel fabrication equipment, including automated plate cutting equipment. There are 10 semi-automatic welding stations, and our welders are AWS and ASME qualified. The Anchorage Fabrication group uses customized piping and structural steel fabrication computer software to ensure accurate shop drawings and fabrications, material control, quality control documentation, and detailed shipping lists.

East Bay – Structural Steel Fabrication

  • (8) 1-ton jib cranes
  • (1) 5-ton bridge crane
  • (1) 10-ton bridge crane
  • Bickford radial arm drill
  • Handrail bender

  • Marvel vertical band saw – self-feeding, programmable measuring and pitch cutting
  • Dual head pantograph and automated plasma cutter with cutting table

  • Met-Fin shot blaster for surface prep of raw materials and completed assemblies

Center Bay – Module Assembly

  • (2) 10-ton bridge cranes
  • Double sliding doors – 48 ft. wide x 25 ft. high, allows for assembly, load out, and shipment of multiple 20 ft. wide truckable modules / assemblies
  • 24 ft. wide x 20 ft. high rolling service door

West Center Bay – Module Assembly and Pipe Fabrication

  • (2) 5-ton bridge cranes
  • (12) 1-ton jib cranes
  • Semi-automated plasma pipe cutter with hydraulic roller system capable of straight, beveled, and coped cuts
  • 24 ft. wide x 20 ft. high overhead door

West Center Bay – Pipe Fabrication

  • (1) 5-ton bridge crane
  • (2) 1-ton jib cranes
  • PWHT oven and heat treatment induction heater
  • Segregated area for stainless steel / duplex fabrication (as necessary)
  • (2) overhead doors
