Vice President/General Manager, Regulatory and Technical Services

Paul Ramert is Vice President/General Manager of the Regulatory and Technical Services group for ASRC Energy Services (AES). He is responsible for a staff of professionals focused on permitting and regulatory requirements in the resource development industry.

Paul is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Alaska with more than 22 years of management and engineering experience. Prior to joining AES, he managed business operations for the Alaska branch of a national engineering firm where his responsibilities included overseeing staff, budgets, and projects; coordinating multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers; directing contract reviews; generating business opportunities; and overseeing marketing initiatives. Paul’s technical experience covers a wide range of geotechnical, civil, and environmental engineering projects for oil and gas companies; other private industry; and federal, state, and local governments.

His professional memberships include the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Foundation Engineers. He also serves on the board of directors for Leadership for Africa, a non-profit organization responding to the orphan and poverty crisis caused by the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Swaziland.

Mr. Ramert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
