Northstar Project
ASRC Energy Services provided engineering, fabrication, construction, and maintenance services on the Northstar Island project in the Beaufort Sea. The project began in 1999 and continues today. Services provided include:
- Infrastructure module fabrication
- Process module fabrication
- Structural steel fabrication (6060 tons)
- Piping spool fabrication (10 miles; 950 tons)
- Module installation
- Insulation blanket fabrication
AES Pipeline, Power, and Communications, our union subsidiary, was responsible for:
- Onshore and offshore gas and oil pipeline construction
- Pipeline tie-ins
- Ice road construction
AES Operations and Maintenance is the current operations and maintenance support services provider on the Northstar project.
